Treatment Options for TMD

Our practice utilizes high-tech dental practices, including electromyography, to assess your unique situation and help determine the best treatment plan for you. Electromyography is a safe practice that involves sending electrodes to record the electrical activity in the muscle tissue. We also use 3D jaw motion tracking to analyze how the jaw is moving and create an appropriate treatment plan based on the results. Our treatment options include physical therapy, where we can show you different jaw exercises you can do at home to help relieve pain. For more advanced cases, we offer oral appliance therapy to keep the teeth and jaw from clenching at night.
