Meet Dr. Dipesh Sitaram

Dr. Dipesh Sitaram graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Since then, he has enjoyed getting to know each of his patients and providing them with the excellent, gentle dental care they deserve. Dr. Sitaram knows what a big difference a great smile can make in your personal and professional life. It can improve your health, boost your self-confidence, help you make better impressions on others, and enhance the overall quality of your life and well-being. Dr. Sitaram loves changing lives one smile at a time!

With his passion for dentistry, Dr. Sitaram is also enthusiastic about Continuing Education and training. His goal is to always be the most qualified he can to care for your oral health and smile enhancement needs. He is very involved in Mercer Mastery Continuing Education. He has also studied at The Dawson Academy, as well as the prestigious Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, a world-class facility with the latest in dental technology and education. Additionally, Dr. Sitaram has completed the Spear Curriculum and was invited to join the Spear Faculty Study Club (SFSC) at the Scottsdale Center. This membership, which is only offered to 300 members annually, makes several beneficial learning and educational opportunities available. These include the privilege of assisting in the development of educational activities for Spear Education and mentoring dentists completing the curriculum. Dr. Sitaram is also part of the Scottsdale Center’s CEREC Doctors mentoring program.

Knowing the importance of quality education, Dr. Sitaram and The Sitaram Foundation are helping fund a college in India, which Dr. Sitaram’s grandfather assisted in starting. The Sitaram Foundation is looking forward to opening a university hospital in the near future, and Dr. Sitaram’s dream is to one day open a dental school on the campus. The focus of The Sitaram Foundation is promoting educational and career opportunities for those in Third World countries.

In his personal life, Dr. Sitaram and his wife, Komal, are enjoying their first child. Their daughter, Medha, was born in 2010!

Meet Dr. John Weida

Dr. John Weida is a graduate of Purdue University and Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Indiana Dental Association (IDA). Dr. Weida is committed to providing patients with excellence in both care and comfort, and he achieves this through state-of-the-art dental technology and Continuing Education. He has pursued post-graduate training with several of the world-acclaimed leaders and programs in the fields of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including the renowned Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and the Spear Curriculum. Dr. Weida has also completed courses on dental implant placement and CEREC dental restorations (which includes one-visit crowns).

Dr. Weida’s primary focuses when caring for patients are, first, helping people understand their diagnosis and dental treatment options and, second, patient comfort. Dr. Weida wants every patient’s visit at Dental Solutions to be a positive experience, each and every time!

In his personal life, Dr. Weida is a lifelong Hoosier. He is married to his high school sweatheart, Jennifer, and they currently reside downtown Indianapolis with their two dogs, Bailey and Parker, and their cat, Oscar. Jennifer is currently doing an OB/GYN Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Weida’s hobbies include running, racing, playing basketball, going to Colts games, watching sports, and traveling. He looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

Meet Dr. Gabriel Hostalet

Dr. Gabriel Hostalet was raised in suburban Chicago. After graduating from high school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating in three years. Dr. Hostalet then achieved his DDS degree at UI's College of Dentistry in Chicago. During dental school, Dr. Hostalet was selected to participate in the Honors Program and to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Additionally, he received the Community Dentistry Award for charitable work performed during school, and the Daniel Seldin Award for excellence shown in the area of oral surgery. Dr. Hostalet graduated from dental school in 2000 with honors.

Following dental school, Dr. Hostalet completed a one-year General Practice Residency in New York before returning to the Midwest for a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center. During his final year of residency, Dr. Hostalet served as Chief Resident. He finished the program in 2005. Dr. Hostalet is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Hostalet chose to pursue a career in oral surgery because he saw it as a unique bridge between dentistry and medicine. He understands that dental care, oral surgery in particular, commonly causes patients to feel anxious. Knowing this, Dr. Hostalet and his patients appreciate that his training allows him to provide intravenous (IV) sedation to make oral surgery as comfortable as possible. Another aspect of oral surgery that Dr. Hostalet loves is the ability to help reconstruct people's smiles! Whether patients are missing teeth because of dental disease, cancer, injury, or any other reason, Dr. Hostalet knows it affects both health and self-esteem. He finds it extremely rewarding to participate in the process of giving people their smiles back. The science and art of oral surgery, especially implant dentistry, is ever-improving, so Dr. Hostalet takes Continuing Education very seriously in order to keep up with the latest advancements in his field.

Having grown up in the Chicago area, Dr. Hostalet is a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and continues to wait patiently for their return to the World Series. In addition to being a sports fan, he also enjoys playing sports, including golf. Dr. Hostalet's greatest passion and achievement is his family. He and his wife, Leah, are the proud parents of three lovely children, Sydney, Harrison, and Brady.
